Edward, Prince of Wales, known as the Black Prince for the color of his battle armor and weaponry, had a glorious military career capped by great victories during the Hundred Years War.

This shield is designed after the coat of arms of his family.

This shield is made of 20 gauge steel and is hand-painted red and navy blue with an antique finish for an authentic look and feel. The accents are real brass which add realism and value to the shield.
